Pretty darn funny! Thanks to Carrie for writing this and Toby at CFOTM for sharing it.
Wondering what the team UGS workout will be for tomorrow’s 2nd Annual Team UGS Challenge? Here’s a hint…
Man this would’ve been great to have alot of people at doing this workout. It was really fun..me and mica almost pulled it out, but came up 59 seconds short of victory.
Thanks to Katechis, Mica, Russ, Stephen, and Armando who participated in our 2nd Annual Team UGS Challenge on Saturday. Congratulations to Team UA (Russ and Stephen) who won by 59 seconds! WOD and results are below. Video coming soon…
TEAM UGS WOD: 10 200m runs with 20# sandbag, 20 strict pullups, 30 box jumps, 40 KB swings, 50 (6-count) burpee/tire jumps, 40 KB swings, 30 box jumps, 20 strict pullups, and 10 200m runs with 20# sandbag. Reps for the workout resembled yard lines on a football field. Only one teammate could work at a time. WOD began with a coin toss. Winners of the toss, Russ and Stephen, decided to complete the “kick-off” (tire drag and rope pull) at the beginning, leaving Katechis and Mica to do it at the end of the WOD.
RESULTS: Team UA – Russ & Stephen: 39:26; Team AU/OS – Mica & Katechis: 40:25. Only 59 seconds separated them. I think this calls for a rematch!
