Rack Pulls – 1RM 495# (135 x 10, 135 x 10, 225 x 5, 315 x 3, 405, 455, 475, 495)
Box Squat (Wide Stance) – 225 x 5 x 5
I didn’t do my burpees [for the 30-day fitness challenge] yesterday, so I did 33 total tonight in my warm-up to make up for it.
Cody and I did this Strength WOD tonight. I started with 185# on the rack pulls and stopped at 255# (which is twice my body weight). I have no frame of reference for this. That just sounds impressive. 😉
By the way, I’ve lost 10 pounds (7 of which I gained in November and December) since getting back on the Paleo bandwagon after the holidays. It’s been a while, as in high school, since I’ve seen the 120’s. Woohoo!
I started with 75# on the squat cleans and stopped at 95#, using that weight for my last two sets. I was new to split squats so I started with the barbell (45#) and went up to 65#. I think I am already feeling those. For the weighted sit-ups, I used the barbell (45#) for all five sets.
