Crossfit Montgomery welcomes Greg Coleman from Crossfit Arlington! A track and field athlete in college, his specialty was sprints 100m, 200m and 4 x 100m relay. Greg has an extensive fitness background which includes playing/coaching football, wrestling, baseball, and softball where he has enjoyed working with athletes of all ages and successfully in prepared athletes for the collegiate ranks. After years of being a ‘gym rat’ he began Crossfit in 2008 as way to change up his fitness routine and has never looked back. Greg: “My first Crossfit workout was Eva…thought I might die…and I loved it!”
He is convinced that Crossfit is the best way to increase work capacity, making you stronger and better apt to adapt to multiple environments. “Crossfit has changed the way I view fitness and nutrition and has made me a much better athlete!” He is dedicated to this craft and is working hard to expand his knowledge of Crossfit coaching experience. He enhances his athletic training by running in races ranging from 5Ks to marathons and is a novice cyclist. Greg firmly believes that hard work is the key to ‘achievement in every field of human endeavor’ and that attitude permeates his training/coaching style.
Greg is a Crossfit Level I Certified Trainer. He is here attending Air Command and Staff College on Maxwell Air Force Base. We are excited about having him join our team of coaches and the CrossFit Montgomery family.
